P23308 Anonymity and Free Speech link reply
Anonymity and free speech are tightly coupled. One is pointless without the other: being anonymous is worthless if you aren't allowed to express yourself, and expressing yourself is dangerous if you're not allowed to be anonymous.

Ask the lambda admin for more information about the virtues of promoting free speech in times of widespread censorship and hate speech laws.

What is it that you want to say? Or do? There certainly isn't free speech here, for example you can't say a list of digitized RGB values of light reflected from a naked young girl without your message being interfered with after a while.

One has to wonder, is the apparent de-listing of a thread from the recent view a bug in the imageboard software or an act of microcensorship?

Sire, you must have been miscomprehended, it is not of the fault of a bug. Is it the intention of the admin. If I had to find a clover, I would have to wander through the deep dark forest and hope for the best.

I'm starting to fear the lambda admin may be female. A male would surely be less afraid of free speech. Take /pol/ for instance. It's just a bunch of dudes peacefully discussing world politics.

P23450 back then before /All2/ was implemented and fagmin used only /All/ - recent for moderation, we tried to create /pol/ (and similar) board and fagmin moved it to /trash/.

Surely the admin can explain himself. Perhaps he was trying to protect the community from wrongthink? Or wrongtopic? Or just simply from freespeak? There are many reasonable explanations why a person in a position of power would choose to delete a nascent board despite having enabled user board creation in the first place. Indeed, most people would consider such a modus operandi to be idiotic, hypocritical and counterproductive but I sense a hidden genius behind the seemingly contradictory decisions! Come forth admin and explain yourself! We are here for you.

P23512 Yes, s/he, fagmin, did give the following reason:

"Schizo magnet"

Short and (kind of) concise, innit?

I guess you know what that means...

>Schizo magnet

The admin worried that the /pol/ board will attract "pol schizos"...

The term: Political schizos (pol schizos) probably means ones who post long text-wall conspiracy theories all day.
