School Days, each episode made me angrier than the last. It's a weird feeling

What I'm currently watching:
Made in Abyss S2, a loli and a shouta go on an adventure together, they suffer a lot along the way
Lycoris Recoil, the story of an high-school girl who's also a government's assassin but who doesn't want to kill people. The art direction reminds me of Vivy Fluorite Eye's Song although the team is completely different.

Yen Press's translation is pretty good. I don't usually read light-novel because fan translations suck, but this one was translated by professionals.

i watch animes as a pasttime, reading lns on top of that would be like doubling my anime time haha i'd feel guilty. i gave the first couple of chapters of vol 7 a try. kinda surprised by the shifts between 1st person/3rd person POVs. not averse to it or anything. just an interesting stylistic choice.
also pleasantly surprised that there are 20 vols out already for the lns. gives me hope that the author has a better idea of what to do with the series than [spoiler: overlord's].

Haha, don't worry. It's not a problem to only watch animes. I personally prefer readings mangas, but there are quite a few cases where I would recommend the anime over the manga. For example, Made in Abyss's anime has much better pacing than the manga.
I quite lkie the narration switch, actually. It feels like I'm reading Rimuru's diary, only with some interruptions to see what is happening elsewhere. The ln is a rewrite of the original web novel, so yeah, the author should know where he is going.
So you haven't really seen Valentine yet? That vampire is the focus of the next arc.
